Yesteryear Collection

The Essex Police Force has set up a memorial fund to purchase a head stone to commemorate the names of every police officer who has died whilst in the service of the Essex Police Force (including the now defunct borough forces) since its inception 150 years ago (in 1840).
Constable Steve Wynn of the Essex Police Force has commissioned this model to raise money for the memorial fund. The model depicts a Talbot Ambulance in use by the Southend-On-Sea Borough Police circa 1935 and bears the correct registration number of the commissioned model.
